This is the Expansion preview. As of Dec 20th, 2016th. Keep in mind that I didn’t go into depth on prospects that are playing in the AHL this year. This is MOSTLY based off the big prospects and roster players. Also keep in mind I am not a mind reader and don’t know what you are thinking.
Next Division to look at will be the Atlantic
Detroit – Will almost certainly lose a goalie or two.
Forwards – Leon Draisaitl, Jonathan Toews, Alex Killorn, TJ Oshie, Phil Kessel, Anton Lander, Sergey Kalinin, Ondrej Kase, Christian Dvorak
Defense – Dion Phaneuf, Shea Weber, Alexey Marchenko, Dustin Byfuglien
Goal – Connor Hellebuyck
Montreal – Could go a different direction on a few guys that I have projected
Forwards – Vincent Trocheck, Jason Spezza, Jussi Jokinen, Jonathan Marchessault, Tobias Rieder, Jeff Skinner, Joel Ward, Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson, Jake Guentzel
Defense – Cam Fowler, Andrej Sustr, Mark Borowiecki, Niklas Hjalmarsson
Goal – Steve Mason
Ottawa – Will most def lose the max 5 guys unless Kirk starts dealing some of these guys which is almost certain.
Forwards – Alex Ovechkin, Mika Zibanejad, Tyler Johnson, Nik Bjugstad, Ryan Johansen, John Taveres, Jonathan Drouin, Filip Forsberg, Brandon Dubinsky

Tampa Bay – Will one of the expansion teams take a chance on Talbot and help this team with the big mistake of signing Talbot?

Buffalo – Will have some tough decision to make with it comes to their forward group.

Florida – Lehner? Crawford? Does this team protect Crawford for loyalty and expose Lehner?
