This game was simply a game that Edmonton had to have and they had it....they just couldn't hold it! In the very over used "must win" situation this could very well end up being the truth as Edmonton played a very good game taking a lead late into the third. Dallas wouldn't go away however and tied it with the net empty to force the overtime frame. That extra period was just what the doctor ordered for Dallas as regardless of the final outcome they pushed starter Hellebuyck later into the game and now will not be 100% healthy for likely the rest of this series. With this series now shifting back to "Big D" Edmonton will be forced to play the game of their life to limit the opposition while doing enough against the stingy Stars. IF, and that is a big "IF" the Oilers can slide out of town with a low chance against victory they can head home with a healthy line-up but if this next game turns into a high event game the Oilers will likely be without their starter for game 7 whether they win or not. One thing at a time however, heading to Texas with Stars up 3-2
