Boston Bruins GM Dan Lifshatz moved winger Boone Jenner out of town a few weeks after adding him

Bruins Move Jenner to Devils for 13th Overall Pick & DeAngelo

BOSTON, MA -----  "I struggled with the move. We loved Boone, but we wanted to do what we felt was best."

That was Bruins GM Dan Lifshatz after it was announced to the BRHL that the team had move recently-aquired Winger Booner Jenner to the New Jersey Devils, along with minor league forward Tim Bozon for the 13th overall pick in the 2016 BRHL draft as well as highly-touted youngster, Defenseman Anthony DeAngelo.

It had been rumored for a little while that the Bruins were quickly ready to move on from Jenner. As BRHL rumor correspondant and league knowitall, Bryce Shuck claimed that the team was "peddling Jenner like a two dollar whore."

"I wouldn't go that far," Lifshatz said when responding to Shuck's comments. "We talked to multiple teams, and we definitely throught we had a few deasl done. At the end Tim and the Devils stepped up, and made us an offer we could not refuse. We probably talked to 5-6 teams but we found a deal we loved. Simple as that."

The Bruins continue to open up cap space and add draft picks with the draft and free agency rapidly approaching.
