STARS READY TO MAKE ANOTHER RUN TO THE FINALS
GM Junya Kato says roster and roles are set
Every article you read and all the buzz you hear about the Stars was about how last year was a fluke and will not be repeated. GM Kato claims otherwise. "We are deep on forward and defense, have 2 very capable goalies and have the fuel of being the underdogs again," he said. He followed up by saying, "Our team is built around players that we targeted for specific reasons and roles. i think we are the most balanced team in the league." Last year's team had many rentals at the end and now have been replaced by younger versions. If the preseason is any indication, the Stars will be near the top of the standings. They had a very "difficult" schedule going against the "top" teams like the Blues, Avalanche, Blackhawks, Predators. Only time will tell and should be very exciting for the Stars this year.
