Coyotes top 10 prospects

1. F Christian Fischer 19

Christian Fischer brings a consistent 2 way game, great skater and has a bomb of a slapshot. With 90 points and 40 goals with the Spitfires last season, BRHL Coyotes could not pass up the opportunity to add a responsible power forward with top 6 potential in the draft

2. D Ethan Bear  19

Arguably a bit of a reach in the 2nd round of the BRHL draft and a little undersized however, Ethan Bears offense exploded last season putting up 65 points in 69 games with Seattle. If he can keep up this production next season combined with Oilers lack of a right shooting puck moving dman Bear may find himself playing in the NHL sooner than later

3. F Mark McNeill 23

Former Hawks first rounder and AHL All-star led the Ice hogs in scoring last season. 2 way player with size that will be competing for a roster spot in Chicago, GM Mierau believes he can be a great bottom 6 player with PK ability if he can bring a little more consistency to his game.

4.  F Max Gortz 23

Big winger with a solid defensive game, had a decent first season with the Admirals. Has a shot to crack the Predators roster next season.

5. F Sean Kuraly 23

Big Centerman with some playmaking ability. Another smart solid 2 way player for the BRHL Coyotes who could fit in well with the Bruins system.

6. D Doyle Somerby 22

Big mobile dman, had an improved season with Boston university 13 pts in 39 games.

7. F Fabrice Herzog 22

Had a career year in Swiss league played at times with fellow Leafs prospect Auston Mathews potential top 6 forward with some scoring ability but will be a bit of a project that may pay off in the long term.

8. F Adam Gilmour 22

BRHL Coyotes improved their prospect pool when they sent coach Babcock to Capitals in exchange for Adam Gilmour and a 4th round pick. Gilmour had a good college hockey career played 2 games with Iowa Wild last season. Will be competing for a spot in Minnesota’s training camp but will likely make his full season debut in Iowa.

9. G Matej Tomek 19

Slovak Goalie with Univeristy of North Dakota. After offeason surgery sidelined Tomek early in the season he was third string goalie behind Cam Johnson and Matt Hrynkiw and did not play any games. Will have to battle next season for ice time. As we know Goalies take some time to develop and given the demand for free agent goalies in the BRHL offseason, Coyotes were happy to add a goalie prospect Tomek in the later round of the draft.

10. F Emil Petersson 22

Nashville prospect, skilled creative playmaking centerman 12 goals, 14 assists playing in SHL 2nd in scoring on his team.
