Daily Recap
Devils 0
Flames 4
In what is quickly becoming the most bizarre series of the playoffs the Calgary Flames got up off the mat on home ice and at least on the scoresheet had a rather easy time of it on this night. Cam Talbot, after being horrendous last game made up for that performance by shutting out the visitors while the much maligned 4th line (combined minus 9 last game) of the Flames chipped in with a pair of goals and were a combined plus 6 this game. Once again goaltending was the deciding factor for better or worse in this one as the game was very even throughout with the final shots ending up 26-25 for Calgary but D. Dubnyk was not his typical self allowing all 4 goals. With both goalies having a relatively easy night between the pipes expect both starters to get the nod for game 4 in Calgary. This series could very easily come down to whichever team can actually score on the powerplay as they have now combined for 0 goals this series.... yes I said "0" goals combined for the series! Game 4 on the horizon with the Devils now up 2-1
