Rangers get five day break
Linke pleased with start
After being one of the busiest teams in the BRHL since the start of the season, they get a CBA mandated 5 game break. With the exception of Kris Letang who has missed the last three games and may be back in a week the Rangers are healthy. Cam Atkinson leads the Rangers with 7 goals and 16 points which makes him the highest scoring RW in the league and he is tied for the most points in the league. 15 players have scored goals with Anders Lee contributing five while Kevin Hayes and Artem Anisimov have both scored four. What pleases Linke is that Atkinson skates with the first line, Hayes and Lee skate on the second line and Anisimov skates on the third line. The 4th line has kicked in with 4 goals.
Frederick Andersen is 7 - 2 - 1 with a 924 save pct and a GAA of 2.05. Aaron Dell has the same save pct but a GOA of 2.61. He is 1 and 1 on the year.
On another note is the pending expansion draft. Eight of the protected forwards seem like "no brainers" while Jesper Fast, Johan Larsson and Colton Sissons battle for the last spot. As for D-men the four slots seem like "no brainers" also even though Kris Letang's durability issues amy have to be considered.
